Would appreciate hearing from anyone working on the Pye family in Northumberland, especially Morpeth and Ponteland parishes. I believe I may have a line of descent from Jenetta Pye who married John Fenwick in 1612 in Ponteland. I have also found a reference to Thomas Pye of Morpeth who married Margaret Fenwick. I think they may be connected to the family of Thomas Pye who married Margaret Mitford, daughter of Cuthbert Mitford (1520-1593), 21st baron of Mitford. Any input on these families would be appreciated.
