Hi Guille, According to my records, Anthony Pye was the son of Alexander Pye who died Sept 1568 and Marion Corne (also Coryn.) Marion's parents were Elizabeth Vyvyan and Richard Corne. Alexander was the son of John Pye of Lansreath and Elizabeth Courtenay. Anthony was born abut 1555 in Bodinneck, Cornwall and died Apr. 26 1627 in East Looe, Cornwall. His wife was Constance Pound, daughter of William Pound of Launceton, Cornwall. They had children John, Jane, Margaret, Nathaniel, Otwell, Thomas, Elizabeth and Anthony Jr., born about 1597. He married Elizabeth Trethwy.
John Pye of Lansreath was the son of the very colorful John Pye of Mynde Hall in Herefordshire. The Mynde is still standing, recently renovated, and last year hosted a picnic for the Queen.John of The Mynde had 43 children by 3 wives, and it is said, more than 20 by less formal arrangements. I hope this helps.. Rehards, Willette Pye Wood
