I too am Gt GT Grandson of Hannah & John Openshaw. My ancestor is your William's younger sister Ada. John Openshaw was born in Stockport, Cheshire by the way.

I have William up to the 1901 census and was interested to learn that he ended up in Bombay, India. These oil millers certainly moved around a lot. his eldest brother, James, sets the record for mobility though, I think.

I've tried to contact you via a message you left on the Openshaw site in 2000 but so far no response.
