Hi. My Pye ancestors owned land in Georgia in the early to mid 1850's. At least one of them did have slaves. I do have some details including a will that lists names. But I don't have a record of that particular one owning land in the Columbus area. One of his brothers did though. I'd be happy to share what information I have if you want to email me. - Carol
