Hello to all Pye researchers.
In the baptismal registry of PEI, there are a few Pyes.
The oldest entries leave the following names as fathers of children being baptized: Francis, John and Thomas.
Children belonging to Francis were all christened on Nov.14, 1855. His wife is Anne unknown last name.
John's children born @1820's-30's. His wife's name: Mary Goulding.
Thomas married Sarah Anne Mayhew. Children @1830's.
There is an area on PEI referred to Pye Corner.

I have found a Thomas F. Pye- who becomes Freeman Pye. Freeman is married to an Elizabeth- unknown last name. One of their children was born in Nebraska.

I have no idea where these families originated- or if the first 3 men I listed are brothers or anything. I know by an 1881 census record that they list their ethnic origin as Scottish.

I am not of Pye descent but I am helping another lady gather some information.

Does anyone out there attach themselves to any of the names I have mentioned? In particular the Freeman/Elizabeth Pye family.

Thank you all in advance and best of luck in your searchings.
