John Henry Pyeatt (s/o Andrew Finley Pyeatt and Martha "Patsy" Carnahan)
born 9 Nov 1829, Washington Co AR; died 30 June 1889 Rio Vista, Johnson Co TX
married 21 Aug 1851 Washington Co AR-moved to Johnson Co TX in 1858.
to Sarah Ann Maxwell, daughter of William Maxwell and Ann R. Billingsley (born 31 July 1832, Washington Co AR. died 22 Apr 1902 Johnson Co TX
10 children born between 1852 and 1876. (I have names, b & d if you want to validate).
Couldn't put my hands on this reference- "John H. drove a confederate wagon in the 30th Texas Calvary, Company E, CSS"
Regarding Pulanski Co. This was one of the first counties settled by the Pyeatt clans- Crystal Hill was the town. Later a PyeattTownship existed. In 1827 several left this area for Cane Hill, Washington Co., AR. I think the body of work is "Early Settlers of Cane Hill" by Ellen Earle Richardson, 1955.
