W. E. PYLANT
The funeral of W. E. PYLANT, 78, long time Taylor Countian who died last Monday at Ada, Oklahoma, was held Wednesday morning at the Caps Methodist Church with Rev. R. A. WALKER, minister of the Merkel Presbyterian Church, conducting. Mr. Pylant is survived by six daughters, his wife having died 11 years ago. The daughters are Mesdames LYDIA DAVIS and GERTRUDE FRAZIER of Merkel, BILL MCCALLUM and EUNICE LEON of Temple, MAY BLANKENSHIP of Buffalo Gap and ANNIE PEARSON of Ada, Oklahoma.

Father of Two Dallas Teachers
As he finished reading his morning paper and walked to the window of his apartment, WILLIAM M. HAMILTON, 79, father of two Dallas schoolteachers, dropped dead of a heart attack at the Ambassador Hotel. A former Nashville, Tennessee contractor, Mr. Hamilton came to Dallas three years ago to live with his daughter after the death of his wife. A short funeral service was held late Saturday at the Lamar & Smith Funeral Chapel and the body was sent to Nashville where burial will take place Monday. Surviving are four children, Miss DANA LEE HAMILTON, teacher in the Mount Auburn school; W. THEO HAMILTON, instructor at W. H. ADAMSON High School; Mrs. H. C. PYLANT of Franklin, Tennessee and Mrs. J. HORACE FARRAR of Manchester, Tenn., and three grandchildren, WILLIAM HAMILTON, ROBERT HAMILTON and JOHNNY HAMILTON of Dallas.
