Details taken from 1851-1881 census and birth certif. of George it looks as if they moved to Batley in 1842-1845 Thomas and James my not be members of family but did live nearby Patrick was a book keeper .
Marie may have been christened 17 may 1840 roman catholic castleisland Kerry .
They all worked in wool trade and lived in havercroft area of Batley
Spelling of readie varies in censuses REIDY REID RAIDY
IN 1851 PATRICK WAS NOT IN BATLEY.SO HE COULD HAVE DIED SO HE MAY HAVE BEEN OLDER THAN ELLEN OR HE MY HAVE MOVED AWAY I CAN NOT FIND HIS DEATH IN THE PARISH Reg
