Timothy was a twin brother to Daniel (born March 1866).Daniel was the best man at my grandmother Agnes Theresa Pyne's wedding to John Longin Buffalo NY in October of 1910.Daniel was my father's godfather in December of 1912.Agnes was the youngest child in this family. She came to Buffalo, NY in 1905.
Family legend says that Richard Pyne had two wives and both were named Ellen Keogh. They were first cousins from"down the road" in Gower South.Their fathers were Edmund and Patrick. You will find them on the County Clare Library site on the Griffiths valuation; and one of them on the Tithe Applotment list. Also one of the widows Keogh is on the 1901 census - all on the library site - under the genealogy tab. Ellen Keogh widow of Richard Pyne is also on the Census of 1901 with the children still at home in Tiernaglohane.
I have more information that I would be happy to share.I also have a photo of the new tombstone marker which replaces the very old stone markers that are framed on the ground at Kilmacduane Cenetery.A friend from the Buffalo Irish Genealogy group took this photo last year.
Many of the Pyne children came to America and I have some information on them. Some went to England.I'd love to hear from you.Mary
