Good Friday 2010
Hi Tony. Just new to this and came across your message from 2004(!)I am the eldest son of Eric & Kath Pyne (now both deceased) and the unofficial family historian. My maternal grandmother,Josephine Cleary(nee Flynn) was the daughter of Thomas Flynn and Rose Ann Malone (b.c.1887), of 9 Ivy St Brunswick Vic. Rose was, as far as I can determine, a schoolteacher.
I would be interested to know anything you can tell me about my Malone ancestors. I have a fair bit on the Pynes, Clearys, and various other Irish branches (Maguire, Collins,Reagan, etc). I have made personal contact with the Irish Clearys in Mullingar, after 152 years out of Ireland!. I was still "family" as far as they were concerned! Regards, Geoff
