Hi Elizabeth,
Many thanks for the reply. I was beginning to think this site was closed due to lack of interest in the Pyper clan - good to see it's still going.
I had posted a census lookup request earlier this month so if you are able to assist that is fantastic.

I am interested in the 1841,1851 or 1861 census (pref 1841)
Robert Pyper, Wife Elizabeth (Watt)
David (1826), Joseph (1828), George (1830) Mary (1832)
James (1834), Robert (1837), Alexander (1840) Jean (1843) Elizabeth (1847)
Address: Fettercairn Kincardine Scotland

I am trying to find occupation and age of Robert Snr as he is "reputed" to belong to Burns family somewhere (mother's side I believe)

Any info will be a step forward as I'm standing still at the moment.
Many thanks
