How interesting because I sent for Ernest's
birth certificate & found that his father's
name was W. Bordeaux Pyron(he was referred to
as "Birdo" by my grandmother) & his mother's
name was Mollie Cotton Johns. Our line is
supposedly from Alabama but have not had
any luck in that state finding anything. I wasnt sure if Bordeaux had any brothers and
sisters so this helps a lot as I had come
to a deadend. Re the Battle of Big Horn..
where exactly was that? Do you know if he
had any other brothers/sisters besides the
one you listed? And maybe where they were
from. Would be very interested in the info
you have & would be more than happy to share
what I have. By the way, is your husband
a Pyron? Thanks for all you help
