Neva,
Abraham and Martha Jane were also my gggrandparents. My ggrandfather was Byrd Leroy Livingston. When I first started researching, the LDS (Mormon) church computer showed Martha Jane as Martha Pines. When I posted this in an earlier message I got a reply from John Livingston (another kin) who told me that the spelling (Pines) was probably wrong. He said that Pyron is a scarce name and that the family apparently originated in Belgium. Family stories have it that Martha's Dad left her in Alabama with William Livingston's family while he returned to get the remainder of his family probably from South Carolina where the Livingston's came from. She was l5 and apparently she and Abraham hit it off and they married in 1845. I am planning a trip to Pike Co. Al. in the near future. If I find anything else I will let you know.
Nancy
