Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Jackson and Hannah Rae Pyron are listed on the 1850 Census, as living in Marion Co., Alabama. Their daughter Mary Virginia (who married William Milas McKay) was a sister to Charles M. Pyron and Rebecca A. Pyron. Two of their brothers were killed in the Civil War.

I have a little on Mary Virginia Pyrons family. Her husbands family lived nearby, as well as her Uncle Milas Rea (how it is spelled in the Census).

Will share what I have, but I am limited on my information.

Wendy Lawrence
