Col. Charles L. Pyron was born in Marion Co., AL, in 1819 and died in San Antonio in 1868. He was the son of William Pyron, born in NC in 1789. This William's parents were John, born 1762, and Delpha Stokes or Stoker. (Another born the same place and year was the son of William, born 1757.) Col. Pyron had a son, Charles Jackson Pyron, whose daughter Leila married Harold Greenlee in San Antonio.
