I'd like to point out to all of you, that William C. Pyron, the "old Revolutionary soldier" who was born in 1757 could not have fathered any children born in the 1770s, as he was only 13 when (and if) that child was born to he and his wife.
According to the DAR, that is his date of birth and we have a death date of June 27, 1850 in Goose Creek Township, Union Co., NC (not Goose Neck).
Also, his wife, Mary Powell who was not born until about 1755, and could not have borne any children in the 1750s. Their marriage date is listed as being 1769 in Mecklenburg Co, NC. Anne
