Hi Denise,

I am the ggrandaughter of Eugenia (Gean) Pyron.
I have heard a similar story. The parents died from some type of illness. The kids were attempting to get back to Mississippi. The oldest, I think was named Joe and was working to make money for them to return to Mississippi and was kicked by a mule and died. This was somewhere between OK and Mississippi. Wash Foard and his wife Maebell Dunaway raised my ggrandmother Gean. Floyd, I don't know much about. Margaret (Maggie) born 1891 and died in Uporia, Mississippi. Westly (Less) married a lady named Martha.
I am new at the genealogy and would love to share what I have.
