PYRON HERITAGE????? OR NOT?

HAS ANYONE COME ACROSS MY GREAT- GREAT GRANDPARENTS: "SIMEON AND HARRIET PYRON", FROM JACKSON, GA (ATHENS, NEWTOWN, MILLER'S AND WILSON'S DISTRICTS)? THEY WERE LISTED IN THE 1880'S AND 1900 CENSUS, HAVING CHILDREN BY THE NAMES OF: CHARLES, EDITH M., VIOLA, RUSSELL, HOMER, CALVIN, CARRIE, SIMPSON, JOHN, AND CLARENCE (NOT PARTICULARLY IN THIS ORDER). I ALSO FOUND SIMEON PYRON BY HIMSELF IN THE 1870 CENSUS AND HARRIET AND CHILDREN (WITHOUT SIMEON) IN THE 1910 CENSUS.

NOW HERE'S WHERE IT GETS A LITTLE CRAZY. . . I FOUND THE SAME FAMILY AGAIN IN THE 1910 CENSUS UNDER THE NAME "SIMPSON AND HARRIETT PYANT", LISTED WITH THE SAME CHILDREN. HELP.

I'M THINKING THAT THE ENUMERATER MISSPELLED THE LAST NAME, WHICH IS VERY COMMON. IT'S REALLY HARD TO FOLLOW WHEN GIVEN WRONG INFORMATION AND SPELLINGS.

THANKS, LINDA
