My great-grandfather shows up:
1860 Sumner, TN census with Rachel Cates,age 69, born abt 1791, NC.

1870 Wilson, TN, with Rachel Cates, age 84, born abt 1786.

I'm wondering if she might be Rachel Pyron m. Jesse Cates, Aug. 8, 1815, Knox, TN and if this Jesse is the Jesse Cate, son of John Cate, Sr.

Any thoughts appreciated.
