Having just stumbled on this interesting discussion re: the Pyron family of Carroll Co., Georgia, I am wondering how--or whether--my 3rd great-grandparents might fit into the picture. This particular line has long troubled me:

John KELLY, of Carroll Co., GA; m. ... Frances BYRON

Arthur Ashford KELLY, b. Carroll Co., GA 1860; m. 8 Jul.1880 Claiborne Psh, LA... Amaryntha Jane CULPEPPER

Eliza Bartow KELLY, b.18 Apr.1893 Coryell Co., TX d.25 Jan.1989 Delano, CA; m. Cooke Co., TX 4 Aug.1912 ... Charles Benjamin LEWIS

Nina LEWIS, b. Cooke Co., TX 27 Jun.1913; m. 1937 CA... Earl Weston STRAWSER

(Nina is my maternal grandmother.)

Is there a chance that Frances PYRON comes from these same Pyron families being discussed on this forum? Any advice most welcome.

Grant Menzies
