I looked in the book "Quackenbush Family in America" by Gail Richard Quackenbush of Dallas, TX. I didn't find any spouse listed under "Carman/Carmen". Next I tried by Catherine - there are ALOT of Catherine's!

Based on the limited info, the closest match (and I didn't check ALL Catherine's, only b. 1814/15)was for....

John N. Quackenbush b. 1785, Ny, d. after 1853, married Helenah Collier on 20 Feb 1806, Fonda Dutch Reformed Church. Helenah was b. ca. 1790, NY. They had 6 children, and Catherine was born ca. 1815, NY.

Records were from census in Montgomery Co, Madison Co, and Oswego Co.
