I am looking for this family. Specifically, I would like details on the related DUNCAN family.
George Payn Quackenbos of New York City, son of George Clinton Quackenbos and Catharina Joanna (Payn), married Louisa Brodie (Duncan), daughter of Alexander Duncan and Mary (McFarlane). They had John b.ca 1848 [I believe he is John Duncan Quackenbos] and Mary b.ca 1850.
George Payn Quackenbos was an educator and writer of educational books. He was a friend of my ancestor, Rev. William Cecil Duncan. I believe George may also be his uncle by marriage.
