I am not sure but there may be a connection with my husband's family. My husband's grandfather was a Frank Quade whose father was Fred Quade whose wife was Mary and my husband's father who is still alive at the age of 90 says that he thinks Carl Quade was a relative down in southern Illinois in the Edgewood area. My husband's father is John Frederick Quade. He says that his family came from Germany originally and I believe might have started out in PA and then migrated to Illinois in the southern part of the state around Brownstown, Vandalia etc. I can get more specific information to see if things match up but the names are so close and the dates similar.I've dabbled a bit with the genealogy and would be interested to see if there is a connection.
