I am just beginning to research my husband's family and am at a loss to identify which John Quaid he descended from. He was born in about 1830 in Ireland and was married around 1850 to Eliza (unk. maiden and unknown as to whether they married in the U.S. or before immigration). I believe they were in the U.S., Harrisburg, PA area by about 1855 and have a great number of descendants in that area, some of whom go by McQuaid and others by Quaid. Would love to know what area of Ireland they came from.
