I am researching the family of Charles Hugh Quaid b. 29 Jan 1848 New Salem, Rusk Co TX d. 29 Aug 1881 Cooke Co TX. 1st buried in Quaid Cem.Cooke Co TX, then the cemetery was moved to Bloomfield-Jones, also in Cooke Co. TX
He was the son of Thomas Walter Quaid (1815 MD d. 1860 Rusk Co TX) & Emily Ann Moore (1818 GA-1911 Johnston Co OK).
Charle's siblings were

Charles married Ruth E. Bowman 21 Jan 1877 in Cooke Co TX. She was the daughter of James Wesley Bowman (1839 GA d. 1876 Cooke Co TX) & Sarah Catherine Watts (1840 GA 1923 OK)
Charles and Ruth had two children, Wesley Walter b. 1878 and William b. 1880. Charles died in 1881 in Cooke Co and Ruth then married J.W. Little in 1882 in Cooke Co TX.
I don't find Ruth Bowman Quaid Little after the 1880 Cooke Co TX census and her marriage in 1882. Find son, Wesley Walter Quaid and his family in Louisiana in 1900, 1910 He died in Aimwell, Catahoula Par. LA in 1954.
Wesley Walter md 1st unknown and had sons Oliver Boyd b. 1895b & d. 1957,( md Audie Marie Methuin), and Lee Franklin b. 1897 d. 1962,( md. Addie Carolyn Wilson and Cliffie Foster). Wesley Walter married 2nd Jane 'Janie' Butler abt 1898 and had children Eve Lena 1900, Avis 1904, Henry Robert 1907 and Althia 1909.
