Cindy,

John Washington Little and Ruthy E. (Bowman) Quaid were married in Cooke Co TX 28 May 1882. I belive she died in 1885. John & Ruthy had one child, Sarah Evelina in 1883.

In Cooke Co TX Probate records there is a J.W. Little, lunacy. Administrator J.M. Little. According to the Clerks office in Cooke Co., this J.W. Little died 14 Feb 1896. So he is the John W. He was a brother of John, as well as the administrator of his estate.

To the petition of J.M. I also have the court records (very long) of when J.M Little was relieved of his duties of guardian when Sarah Evlina married J.W. Vanderslice in 1901.

Sarah Eviline, shown as Evie in the 1910 census married John William Vanderslice and moved to Hopkins Co TX. Sadly she died young too, in 1919 after the birth of her 7 th child,

her children: John Little's grandchildren

1. Grace Jewell b. 1903
2. Opal May b. 1905
3. Perry Vester b. 1907
4. Sadie Fay b. 1910
5. John Parvin b. 1913
6. Raymond R.L. b. 1916
7. Unknown child b. & d. 1919

I believe that Sarah Evilina is buried at the Reilly Springs Cem in Hopkins Co.

I believe also that John Washington and James Madison Little were children of Daniel W. Little & Hannah Dunn Sheffield.

Tell me more about the Little's you're researching.

Sue
