My gg grandparents Horace C.J. BUTTLER married Ellen QUAIL in 1862 in Ontario, Canada. She was born Ontario of Irish descent. His father was Manly BUTTLER and her father was Thomas QUAIL born in Ireland. Horace Butler was born in New York, U.S.A.
They had 2 sons; William Charles and George. Both Charles and Ellen died when their sons where very young. I have very little info of her. I do know she had a cousin; Mary Ann Quail b. 1859 and married James Link in Ontario, Canada and had 5 children.
Any information of either families would be greatly appreciated.
