Tamson Orson is correct. The reason so many people have put Buffington is because Elizabeth Buffington Freeman referred to Tasmon as a sister. You will find no other member of the family acknowledge her as a part of the family. Tamson's relationship to Elizabeth appears to be through her first husband, Peter Collins. Tamson Orson was a witness on Peter Collins will. I researched the Orson family and found the connection. The proof can be found in the settlement of William Orson's estate where it clearly shows William Quaintance must be the husband of Tamson Orson.
