His father had died, mother eventually remarried. I believe he was named after his father. He settled in Taratahi, which is now Clareville, an area of Carterton. I am no relation, just researching the early settlers and or buried at local cemetery. Dundee would be a giveaway surely.. must have been passed down through the family..He would have arrived in NZ in late 1800s. Notify Administrator about this message?
