His full name was William Greene Lee Quaite. Besides the wife you mentioned, he was married also to Mary M.(Calvert) Smith in Ellis County, Texas, in 1864. They had one child born the following year, then she divorced him. He was married before that also, to a Hester Patton and they also had children. I have a bit more info if you're interested.
