We found Elling! He had land in Dickey County, North Dakota and died Nov 16, 1887 in Clay Co., Moorhead, MN. He was working as a foreman for carpenters in the city - he contracted typhoid fever and died. He is buried in the Riverside Cemetery. It is good to reunite him with his family again after 118 years!
