Kenneth -- thanks for your resonse to my message. Yes, Huggins is my maiden name. I was born Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, father from Hood County, Texas and grandfather from Darlington, South Carolina. Some of grandfather's younger siblings were born in Alachua County, Florida.

The Qualls line I've searched is for my mother's aunt, Mary Ellen Reser, who married a Qualls. His father, Nathan (Nathaniel, Jr. b. 1790 in Virginia) was grandson to David Quarles. If we have a match, let me know.
