Hey Ted,
Thanks so much for replying. We had a Qualls reunion in Perry Co., TN this past May. Family lore has it that some of the TN line went to Texas after the Civil War and did not return to TN to live but some did return for visits.
Unless I've strayed along the wrong path of research, I believe that you are probably a descendant of the TN Qualls who moved on to Texas. Please let me know is I have your line correct.
