I don't know what date they were married, but according to The book "Scott County Virginia Cemetery Records" Vol. 7 (by Phyllis Louise Willits Peterson), Emmar Clayton was his wife and her headstone is in the Qualls Family Cemtery in South Duffield, VA. (I show her name as Emma, not Emmar, but the name Emmar Clayton is shown on the headstone and is states she is wife of A.B. Qualls.
