Lynda Wilson Grimes, What can you share about the family of William P. Sandridge and his wife Sarah J. Qualls (Quarles)? By 1888, when the real estate of John and Elizabeth Qualls was transferred in an estate settlement, they were listed as nonresidents of Franklin County, Tennessee (I have only begun to read this case styled Wm Quarles et al vs John Syler et al and heard in the Chancery Court of Franklin County, Tennessee). By the 1850 Lincoln County, Tennessee, Census listing for the family, it appears that Elizabeth was the second wife of John. He is shown as being born about 1773 in Virginia and she about 1800 in North Carolina. The family is listed in the 1860 Franklin County, Tennessee, Census. John died before 1860 apparently...and Elizabeth died between 1880 and 1888. At least 10 children. I am interested presently in the connections to the Hall families. Jerry T. Limbaugh Winchester, Tennessee
