I am just beginning to research my chinese roots. My mother is 1st generation American-Chinese and her mother who was a Quan before she got married to a Jue, came over here from Canton, China. She is very cautious to divulge much information, as she fears the past. She wants me to focus on the future and not ask questions of the past! She is 86 years old and I am trying to get as much info from her as possible. I will let you know of any history on the Quan surname as I find it and post it for this forum....
