I think that you must have lost a letter or two off of your name...Quan. Perhaps to follow up on what Alice said... the name was taken from the 'Black Dutch' by the 'Black Irish' to Ireland. The 'Black Dutch' were of German origin. They migraited to Germany from Prussia. They were from the Taben, Prussia area. Now, check that area out on your map. What is in a name.....more than we know!!! Hee Hee I couldn't resist the tempation! Good Luck in your name search! :)
