I don't know if this will help, but it might. My GGrandmother was Fredaricka Quandt born Aug. 2, 1865 in Multon, Mecklenburg, Germany. She was the daughter of William Friedrich Wilhelm Theodar Quandt born April 24, 1838, in Moltenow, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany and died March 4, 1927 in Fayete Co. IA. He was married to Maria Ilsabe Maria Wichman Oct. 28, 1862, in Klein-Belitz, Mecklenburg, Schwerin, Germany. His father was Ferdinand Vollrath Friederich Quandt. He married Sophia Maria Dorothea Engel. It says that his residence was Moltenow, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany . We have a lot of the same names and locations.
