Looking for information on the Quandt family. My husband's Great-Great Grandmother was Margeretta Maria(Gretchen) Quandt. She was born in 1839 in Krumbach, Hessen, Germany. She married Georg Herrmann and they had one child, Georg. Margereta died in Germany in 1872. Georg remarried and the three (Georg, wife #2, and young Georg) immigrated to the United States in 1878. The settled on the farm of Margeretta's brother, Magnus Quandt in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
