Hi David,

I believe that my grandfather James could possibly be your uncle. He lived in Till road and I often heard my father , Arthur Leslie or Billy as he was called talk of his uncle Freddie.

I think I may have met Edward in Lowestoft hospital around 1978-79 after we both got up when our name was called. I’m afraid I really don’t know very much about our history in Lowestoft.

My grandfather died in 1968 and my father did not talk very much about the family. From what I can gather many lived in Jacob street although I believe my father was born above the old Albion pub.

I would very interested to hear from you if you can fill me in on any other details.
