Hello from the Quantrill's of Australia. My Grandfather moved here from Essex in England after WWII and joined the Australian Army. He left a brother in England who is still around I believe, and has done some work tracing back our side of the family to around the early 1700's I understand. I was told prior to Essex the family lived on the Isle of Wight where one of two brothers went onto the US and the other remained in the UK for some time after this (perhaps ending up in Canada?).
