Hi Martha,

This is a interesting story I am curious where you found this information. I am of the Quarles line and interested in all Quarles information. Please let me know your source. I am from the Thomas W. and Thomas Hubbard Quarles line and like everybody else I am stuck on 1806 and can't find Thomas' father. Thomas W. Quarles m.Rebecka Cox she is suposed to be indian but I have no proff. Please let me know if I can assist you with any information I might have. I am not sure which line you are from. My people come from GA, Ark, KS.

I have done research on my mother and fathers side of the family and so far this is my best link to native americans . My great grandmother Alleva Narcina Quarles told family members she was indian but nobody know how she links. Quarles or Cox I am not sure maybe both. Also, I would be interested in John Quarles will.

Your post was really exciting to read. It gave me hope I may find the native american link.

My husband has a grandmother by the name of Vada Ward that looks like an indian aswell.

Look forward to hearing from you.
Shelly
