I have it as Lewis Quarles, b. 1869/1870 and have found Savannah b. c1876/77, as a daughter of James E. or James G. Butler, born 1847-1849, as found in the Bartow County, GA 1880 census. Lewis's line goes David and Harriett Avy Ratcliff Quarles, John and Rhoda Higgins Quarles, John and Frances Winters Quarles. According to a researcher friend of mine, Lewis died c. 1955 in Bradley County, TN.
I'm working on Savannah's father's family. I'd be happy to exchange information.
