Ben,
I have found Lewis and Savannah in the Gilmer 1900 census, with daughters Lula and Rosa. In the 1920 Gilmer census, Savannah has died and daughter Dessie is living at home with her father, Lewis.

I'd love to share notes if you get this email or read this post..
