Quarles Family Genealogy Forum

I noticed quite a few people are researching this man and his family. The January/February, 2003 issue of the D.A.R. Newsletter has a drawing of "White Plains," and a short paragraph of information: "settled in 1809, was the home of Revolutionary War Veteran Capt. William P. Quarles (Virginia). Andrew Jackson often spent the night on his many visits to and from Washington City. 'White Plains,' located inb Cookeville, was also the first county seat of Putnam County, Tennessee."
