hi i would be very interested in any info. on james lafayette quarles too if anyone would be willing to share. i have a gggrandmother that was martha qualls whose father was james quarles. she was married to james e. burrows. they had a son by the name of washington lafayette burrows. my james quarles was in the rev. war. i have pension papers on him it does not show him with a middle name. was wondering if martha and your james lafayette were related. maybe brother and sister or cousins. i always wondered where they got the middle name lafayette from my grandfather was dock lafayette burrows. he was washingtons son.james quarles grandson. thank you for listening. pat
