Larry

I can provide you more information on the Quarles tie in. William P. Quarles was murdered April 2, 1814, his will did not name Daniel, but his widow, Ann Quarles will dated 30th Oct. 1829 had this line in it. "I bequesth to my son, John Adams Quarles, a negro man Daniel and a negro woman named Maria and Maria's child named Cynthia and their increase."

Ann Quarles did not die until Jan. 1844 in Tennessee. By this time her son John Adams Quarles and his family had already moved to Florida, Mo.

Based upon other family wills, Ann Quarles named slaves which were already working in John Adams Quarles home to transfer title upon her death.

Hannah was not named in William P. or Ann Quarles's wills.

Hope this information is helpful.

Jim
