I have just seen Jessie Quarles' grave. He "is" buried at
Oakmulgee Cemetary next to Martha. That seems to be a question everyone was asking. When Oakmulgee church created their list of occupants they listed Jessie as 6 months. His headstone actually says 80 yrs.,6 mo. They left off the 8o years. Also please note the difference in the spelling of his name. It is not Jesse. They also left off Doc Quarles and Mattie Quarles. They are very small stones. It is simply engraved as D P Quarles
1856 - 1930. Mattie's headstone says Mrs. D P Quarles
1858 - 1937. Has anyone found any new information?
