I am looking for Deborah Qualls/Quarles whose family is from Ozark, Arkansas. We met in the fall of 1975, while attending Enterprise State Junior College in Alabama. Deborah and I were ARMY brats who commuted to and from Enterprise via bus from Fort Rucker. During the short time I knew Deborah, I did not know my great-grandmother’s maiden name.
My great-grandmother was Effie Mae Qualls and she married William Henry Phillips. There is a long history between the Qualls and Phillips in my line. William’s great-grandfather, Adam Phillips was married to Delilah Qualls.
I have a hunch that Deborah may be a distant cousin. Unfortunately, the above info is all I have regarding Deborah, but I am hoping that she or one of her family members might see this and it will be enough to ring a bell.
