Hello,

I am seeking information on a Mary Quarles that is supposed to have married a William Greenfield probably in Knox County, TN in or around 1808. William is witness to a deed of sale for land for a James Quarls in 1819 when James purchases land in Anderson County, TN. James Quarles is living in Knox County at the time as William and Mary.

William and Mary travel from Knox County to Rhea County, TN and from there on to Todd County, Ky and finally White County, TN. There are various Quarles in each locality, James and Elizabeth Pelfrey Quarles being in Todd County while William is there leading me to believe that my Mary is connected to this James Quarles in some manner.

If anyone can tell me who this Mary Quarles might belong to, I would be grateful.
